Paul Keckley, Ph.D., Executive Director, Deloitte Center for Health Solutions
Paul H. Keckley is the Executive Director for the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, the health care research arm of Deloitte LLP focused on trend analysis and issues of the U.S. health system. The Center’s work is featured regularly in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg, CNN and Fox News as well as trade and professional periodicals.Paul brings a distinguished 30 year career in health services research in the private sector and academic medicine. He is a health economist and policy expert, and a regular contributor to CNN and Fox News health reform coverage. Paul is considered one of the country's leading experts on U.S. health reform. He has testified before Congress, and recently facilitated a series of meetings for the White House Office of Health Reform with AHA, AHIP, PhRMA, AMA, and other trade organizations to identify mechanisms to reduce costs without compromising quality and access. He has authored three books and more than 200 articles, and publishes the Monday Health Reform Memo. He has keynoted national meetings of the ACHE, MGMA, World Hospital Association, AMA House of Delegates, AHIP, eHealth Initiative, AHA and others. |

Christi M. Pedra was recently appointed Senior Vice President of Strategic New Business Development and Marketing in Siemens Healthcare Customer Solutions Group. Prior to joining the Customer Solutions Group, Christi was Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. There, she was responsible for leading the company’s sales, manufacturing, and product research and development in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. In 2002 she helped launch Siemens One as Vice President of Executive Relations and was promoted to Vice President of Sales and Chief Operating Officer in 2004.Christi is recognized for her commitment to mentoring, diversity and talent management and is active in leadership roles in both the business and civic sectors. She has been a member of the advisory committee for the Women’s Information Network at Siemens Corporation since 2005 and most recently she was appointed to Siemens Healthcare Steering Committee for Diversity. She is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Leadership Advisory Board and the National Council for Liberal Education America’s Promise. Una S. Ryan, Ph.D., O.B.E. President and CEO of Diagnostics for All
Dr Ryan is President and CEO of Diagnostics for All, a non-profit focused on low cost, easy to use diagnostics for the developing world. Dr. Ryan was formerly President and CEO of Waltham Technologies, Inc and before that she was president and CEO of AVANT Immunotherapeutics, Inc. a publicly traded (NASDAQ) biopharmaceutical company developing vaccines for cancer,
travelers, food safety, and global health.
Dr. Ryan is also Research Professor of Medicine at Boston University School of
Medicine and serves on its Board of Visitors. She serves on the board of AMRI Global, IQuum, the Business Advisory Board of BIO Ventures for Global Health, the Business Advisory Board of Genocea, Inc., the Advisory Board of Phacilitate Vaccine Forum and the UMASS High Technology Executive
Council. She is past Chair of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, served on its Board (1996-2008), as well as the Boards of the Biotechnology Industry
Organization, the New England Healthcare Institute and the Board of Associates of the Whitehead Institute. She is a member of the Strategy & Policy Council of the MIT Center for Biomedical Innovation and the
Massachusetts Life Sciences Collaborative Leadership Council, Goddard Council on science, technology, engineering and mathematics education and the Massachusetts Climate Change and Green Economy Council.
Dr. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cambridge
University and BS degrees in Zoology, Microbiology and Chemistry from
Bristol University. In 2009 she received an Honorary Doctor of Science degree
from Bristol University and the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award. In 2007,
she received the Albert Einstein Award for outstanding achievement in the life sciences. In 2002 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded Dr. Ryan the Order
of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to the research, development and
promotion of biotechnology.
